Ashley has had an illustrious life in the world of art since opening his first gallery in 1963. His works have been exhibited worldwide and are hung on the walls of many famous people. Ashley’s unique paintings of brooding moorlands have become synonymous with Yorkshire and particularly the moors above and around his gallery situated in the heart of the Pennines at Holmfirth.
