This traveling exhibition features work by young people at all levels of experience and inspiration.
Each year the entries are selected from the hundreds of images sent into ArtZone.
Juries of influential figures in the creative industry - art directors from advertising, periodical and book publishing, illustrators and artists chose the images that are most likely to be used commercially.

| Starbucks and Northern Rail support art initiative – November 2008 |

| The ArtZone hosted a ‘My Liverpool!’ art competition encouraging young people to produce a picture of Liverpool, the 2008 European City of Culture
The competition had two age categories: 5-12 years and 12-18 years and two theme categories: ‘Loving Liverpool’ and ‘Liverpool Environment’.
The competition was supported by Starbucks and Northern Rail and the winners received a variety of prizes for themselves and their school.
The winning entries are to be displayed in a ‘tour’ of Starbucks stores in Liverpool and the surrounding area. |

| Young people’s artwork on display in the Laing Art Gallery – October 2008 |

| Young people’s artwork sent to the ArtZone recently featured in a display at the prestigious Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.
The initiative to create artwork to display in the Laing was supported by Metro, the North East’s acclaimed light rail transport system, operated by Nexus, the Tyne and Wear Passenger Transport Executive.
Ashley Jackson, the world famous water colour artist, launched the initiative and chaired a panel of judges who selected the artwork that was displayed at the Laing Art Gallery between 15 September and 5 October 2008. |
