Group travel and group save tickets can be booked for return on a different day.

Group Save tickets do have barred dates when they are not available, we will check those for you at the time of booking.

Transport for London School Party Travel scheme
This scheme is open to all schools located within the Greater London area that teach the National Curriculum or Further Education subjects (e.g. ‘A’ levels), and which are agreed as eligible by Transport for London.
It offers free travel on Tube, bus, tram, DLR and National Rail services within the Greater London area to venues of an educational/cultural interest that enhance, support and supplement teaching as part of the National Curriculum.
Every effort will be made to meet your request, although it may not always be possible, and group size and time of travel restrictions do apply. Applications must be made at least 14 days in advance of the date of travel, and where a trip involves use of National Rail services the relevant Train Operating Company will be contacted to check to see if they can accommodate your school party.
The online application form can be used to apply for tickets for travel on National Rail services.
When you apply online for a journey which includes travel on National Rail services you will need to indicate what time of day you wish to travel. When you receive your tickets, you will be advised of the specific train service on which your party can travel; this will be as close as possible to your preferred time. (Note at present it is not possible for schools to specify the exact train time they wish to travel). If you try to use a different service to the one specified, you may be prevented from travelling.
Both Transport for London and the Train Operating Companies have the right to reject applications.
For full details of the scheme, visit tfl.gov.uk/schoolparty
